-1-: About 8 I went and had a good bath and came round and had a go at removing the Polyp in my leg. I got it half cut off and had to get Lily to finish the job. I hope it heals up all right. I had this thing on my leg for 10 years or more and I was determined to cut off. After cutting it off I put Bates salve on it to keep it clean.
-1-: I lazed about all day. A Mr Hicks came and arranged for me to build him a cart out of material I have. The price is £10 and I have 3 weeks in which to get it done.

-3-: It blew and rained slightly during the night. I went out to the trap, Fred had 14 crabs in and 6 fish caught.
-3-: It rained all night and the wind did blow and is set for a good innings so far as I can see,
-3-: I walked to the shop and bought a few needed articles. The wi nd is still blowing fiercely. It blew the signal affair down that stood on the hill on the way to the fish trap. I had a rough time freeing it and the trap has only 1 small crab and a miniature grunter and 1 1/2 lb flat head. It was 1.15 when I got back to the cottage. 8-5--: I went in and arranged for Burleys to come out for the motor. Got tested for glasses cost £2/15/ -.
